Legendary Mountaineer Ueli Steck Dies on Mount Everest
Swiss iconic mountaineer Ueli Steck also known as ‘Swiss Machine’ died in an accident at Camp II of Mount Everest on Sunday. According to local sources, he most probably slipped and fell into the ditch. The other mountaineers saw him climbing South face alone at 4: 30 am. Steck was famous for his speed climbing as he had set numbers of records in climbing and his death is considered to be a great loss.
