FRANKFURT: On Thursday, the German industrial conglomerate Siemens has said that it would slash 1,700 jobs in Germany in the coming years. OSLO: On Wednesday, Norway has planned to launch the first autonomous and fully electric cargo ship next year that the project´s backers will save 40,000 truck journeys per year. On Sunday, the Dubai government announced the launch of “Dubai Font” which would be the first typeface developed by Microsoft for a city available for 23 languages. Sindh High Court (SHC) has directed all district courts to use instant-message mobile phone application -WhatsApp-to ensure the presence of witnesses in courts for speedy justice.
